Project Details
The Anchorage Building, located in Reading, comprises CAT A office accommodation. Rosper MEP were appointed by the University of West London to undertake a full MEP condition survey of the available space and to assess its suitability for conversion into specialist teaching facilities.
Following the initial assessment, Rosper MEP completed the Stage 3 and Stage 4 MEP design for the CAT B fit‑out of four floors, supporting the University’s expansion of its nursing and ambulance training departments.
The design incorporates significant modifications to the existing MEP infrastructure, including alterations to the roof‑mounted central plant and comprehensive reconfiguration of floor plate services to accommodate the proposed layouts and increased occupancy levels.
Construction works are scheduled to commence in Q2 2026. Rosper MEP will continue to support the University and project team through periodic site attendance, ensuring installation quality and compliance with University standards.
